What is causing this?

Post by G3UCQ » Wed Feb 24, 2016 8:41 pm

I received my SDRPlay yesterday and have it connected to the IF o/p of my FTDX5000.
I am using HDSDR and CW Skimmer. At regular intervals HDSDR and CWSkimmer show this pulse.
Any ideas what it is and what is causing it please?

Thanks
John

Haha... that image was really puzzling. I'm getting good results (on Win 7 x64) with this (donationware) audio cable gizmo, it doesn't try to talk:

That is the VC I am using now - no more 'trial' :)
