Antenna switch for hf and inmarsat?

Post by Fractal1 » Tue Aug 30, 2016 8:43 am

Can anyone recommend a switch to buy or a design that will allow me to switch between hf and inmarsat frequencies? i have tried the ones designed for cable tv/satellite with the f connectors, but the loss of satellite signal is too great. constantly changing antennas could end up stressing the SDRPlays only antenna input.

Many Thanks.

This is the one I have,(actually I have two grouped together = 5 inputs) Goes up to 1500mhz and works well...

or to 3000mhz...

Just ordered a couple of "SMA female to SMA male plugs" from AliExpress ....or ebay.
Figured if they wear out, I`ll only have to replace the sma plug adapter and not the soldered female sma on the SDRplay.

cheers Tony.
