Hello,

i have the sdrplay,in shortwave,you think wich antenna
is the best for good reception:
- AOR LA 400
-boni whip antenna
-mini whip antenna

i ask that because i must receive my cables sma the next week
i must to say i leave in appartment bur 6ème fllor ,that's 20 meters high

Hi Léon,

I don't have experience of these small compact active antennas but they do get quite good reviews. What you have as a big advantage is height. My feeling is that the longest possible wire taped to the inside of the window would still give similar results. If there is any way to dangle a small length of wire out of the window when you are listening then this could work even better, particularly on say 14MHz where a 5 metre length is a perfect quarter wavelength.
