Earthing my new SDRPLAYduo
Earthing my new SDRPLAYduo
Hello,
I have received my new SDRPLAYduo for my office. I currently have a long wire antenna going to an earthed manual antenna tuner box, then out
from UHF to a SMA connector to the duo.
Do I need to earth the duo? Maybe running a ground wire from the HIGH Z (ground pin) to a suitable earth?
Would this help with ground and increase signal quality at all? As mentioned the tunnel box does have a separate earth.
Hope someone can advise
thanks
Nick

Re: Earthing my new SDRPLAYduo
I have mine tied to the station ground, which is a eight foot ground rod, and that ground rod is tied to the service entrance ground for electrical. Multiple grounds, not tied together, scare me.
