driver issues

Post by kimmed51 » Wed Oct 07, 2015 10:15 am

I desire to purchase the SDRPlay however I have a problem regarding drivers. I have no internet connection so I am unable to download the installer or the driver. Is it possible to purchase SDRPlay with HDSDR and driver or would I be able to receive it from tech. support on a disk? I love SDR but I unplugged from the internet years ago only using a cell phone now. kimmed51

Paul,

Thank you for your offer. Right now I've decided not to pursue SDR. I only have Windows XP and don't have enough computer performance need to upgrade. I bought an rtl-sdr on ebay which I never received so right now the gods seem to be preventing me from proceeding so I've decided to sit pat with the SDR thing. Six years ago I owned an SDR-IQ and liked it very much but everything today is over my head.

Best wishes and 73s

Dave,

I have several RTL's that I'm not using, I just packaged up one for you with HDSDR on disk and will pop it in the mail for you, only 24Mhz to 1.7ghz, but will get you going... Enjoy!! perhaps then we can get you into a RSP one day if you get the bug... i presume your details are good on QRZ.com

Thank you Paul. Yes my current address is good on qrz.com. Let me know if I can cover your costs and shipping.
