Computer requirements

I have not found a "suggested minimum requirements" for a computer to use with the SDRPlay (on order).
I realize that different software may impact this but I was wondering if there is a rule of thumb?
I have an older core 2 dual laptop running Windows/Ubuntu that I was planning on using.
Good enough or should I be thinking of something newer?

Hi Ernie,

I was running it fine using SDR-Console and HDSDR on a core2duo win7 with 3gb ram, and it runs just fine....

Great to hear.
Mine was delivered today so now the fun begins 8-)

That was incredibly fast too.
Order to delivery to northern Indiana was under 24 hours !!!
