telive for SDRPlay

Postby deadite66 » Fri Jan 04, 2019 5:43 pm

So i saw on radioreference sdrplay gave sq5bpf an rsp1a in march last year so sdrplay could be supported on telive but did anything come of that?
checked the commits and didn't see anything related.

tried modifying one of the simple grc files but the waveform comes out distorted like sometimes see on gqrx.

update.
got it working by adding gr-sdrplay and the appropriate source block then messing with the bandwidth and gain.

I've added a simple 1-channel flowgraph for the RSP-1A to telive. It's in the gnuradio-companion/sdrplay directory. It uses gr_sdrplay.

Update telive, or get it from here:
https://github.com/sq5bpf/telive/tree/m ... on/sdrplay

More receiver flowgraphs and documentation will be added later.

While you're at it, find a weak signal, and compare the rtl-sdr to a sdrplay receiver, both at 2Msps sample rates. There is a great difference!
