USB Isolator

Post by lew247 » Fri Apr 24, 2015 7:13 am

Will SDRPLAY work with usb isolators?
The common ones seem to have Full speed data rate 12 Mbps
Will this be enough for the SDRPLAY?

No, your hub will have to support High Speed USB 2.0. To support 8 MHz sampling for both I and Q with 12 bits each, the USB rate will be close to 200 MBPS. The lowest sample rate is around 1.5 MHz, and this still requires around a USB throughput of around 36 MBPS

Hi!
What about sample rate for 200khz bandwidth?
According to http://swling.com/blog/2014/08/london-s ... table-sdr/ ISO2USB work well.
