SDR# 1361 Frequency Manager

Post by dosformat » Thu Nov 26, 2015 6:24 am

Hi there.

I am hoping some one can help me with this.

I am using my sdrplay with sdr# 1361 (plugin version from here)

I want to be able to back up my saved frequencies from the frequency manager but I do not know where the config file would be for it? I have searched the main folder and dug around my C:/ drive.

Does anyone have the answer?

Regards

Dos

There are 3 freq mgr that I know.
-- "naive" sdr# freq mgr (this save your freq in frequencies.xml in the same dir of your sdr#.exe)
-- "vasili" freq mgr (this save your freq in frequencies.xml (little format diff from the above) in the same dir of your sdr#.exe)
-- "Jeff Knapp" freq mgr (this save in a SQLite db and you can "override" the directory/name of the file. By default it goes in the "user" folder tree according to the sys op you use, e.g. in win7 c:\USERS\<username>\etc etc)

Which one you want to backup?

bye

Hi there.

Thanks for the reply.

I have reinstalled windows due to having an issue with graphics card driver and reinstalled my sdr# and now the xml file is appearing which is brilliant but previously it was not showing up. It must have been a bug on my machine but the good news is now I can back up all my frequencies.

I felt naked without my backup

Thanks again for the input everyone

Regards
