I seemed to have no trouble installing the drivers on my Win 8 tablet, but when it came to running SDR Sharp, it gave an initialising error. I assumed this was because of the SDRPlay wanting more power than the tablet could supply.

Bit late, but no problem running the SDR Play on my tablet since the signed drivers came out :)

I don't know what the consumption is, but I ran SDR sharp with the SDRPlay on my tablet for a couple of hours, recording IQ files most of that time and there was still about 1/3 battery left.
