Post by saint » Fri Sep 02, 2016 3:38 pm

ON FM BAND the software works ok But on 40 meters or any other bands I get nothing, no signals, I have tried two different antenna's Longwire and Discone. Can't figure out what setup I have wrong I am trying all the ham radio bands in upper and lower and nothing, any help appreciated.

:( I have now spent over 8 hours trying to get SDRPLAY AND SDRUNO to work I can receive FM Radio Broadcasts, I can pick up the weather channel on 162.5 MHz and police and others in the 450 MHz band. But I have tried and failed to receive any Hams or Utility frequencies in any of the bands, 160, 80,40,30,20, and so on. I had a SDRPlay receiver last year and had no problems picking signals up but now not one ham operator or one utility frequency. I no there is a problem with the set up but after 8 hours I have tried everything possible that I can think of. Can anyone from the SDRuno software Team try and trouble shot this with me, It would be appreciated, I'm now just running in circles.

You could try downloading HDSDR and trying it out, from this page:

http://www.hdsdr.de/

HDSDR IMO is easier to set up and get running, and maybe just because I've used it longer, it's easier to find and see the settings. That would at least maybe narrow down the problem, is it some setting in SDRUno, or something wrong for both SDRUno and HDSDR.

Hi Steve,
Can you email support@sdrplay.com with your RSP serial number? Have you another SDR device that you can try to determine whether you might have an antenna problem? As WhoaNellie suggests, it might be worth trying HDSDR also. If you have the same issue with HDSDR, it might imply a hardware problem of some sort.

Yours sincerely

Hi Saint,
I have the same problem as you
On FM Boradcast I don't have problem but when I'm trying to liste HF Band, no RX.
I mean it's necessary to put a IF anywhere.
I'm using a FT-2000 with IF Frequ
