How to set the one time PPM offset in Uno?

Post by bubblegumpi » Sun Oct 16, 2016 1:16 am

I know that every radio has to be "tuned" for the first time due to physical differences in the RF circuit of the radio. How do you do this for UNO?

For my SDRDongle/SDRSharp thing there was a setting you adjusted only ONCE, I think it was called offset. I can't for the life of me find the youtube video of how to do it. I remember that there is some signal in the UHF band that almost every area has thats very narrow. When I found it I adjusted my dongle to something like +8PPM by zooming in the spectrum graph to maximum and aligning up the red indicator line with the little yellow circle on the peak of the signal. Was super easy to do if you follow the youtube video.

PPM calibration is in SETT->CAL from within the Main Window.

What frequency did you use? Or do you have a signal gen?
