Recording from the command line

Post by OH2BUA » Mon Dec 05, 2016 3:05 pm

Hi fellows,

I'd like to know if there exists a piece of software for windoze which can be ordered to record I/Q from command line?

Something like "record <centre freq> <bandwidth> <time|data_amount>

I'll answer myself:

Thank you Sir for your smart question.

Starting from the latest HDSDR release (2.75 final), you are able to do that.

One of the following new, self-explanatory command line parameters must be used: -recRF, -recIF or -recAF.

Pay attention that your HDSDR must be fully setup for your recording: EXTIO stuff and RX/LO frequency. Autostart must be ON, and also the "file split" value in recording scheduler affects.
Well, how to stop the recording from command line? Only by the rough way: TASKKILL /IM SDRuno.exe /T /F
