Using SDR Console.
Re: Using SDR Console.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the info. Yeah any updates would be much appreciated. As far as PPM goes, mine is fine as well at least for voice, however I was experimenting last year with an RTL dongle with modded temp controlled TCXO using the dongle as my receiver and my FT-847 as the transmitter to do digital modes, so for me matching the dongle exactly to my radio is critical. The Same will be required when I try it again with the SDRplay as digital signals are very narrow and a few hertz off frequency can make a big difference compared with voice. Just for your info, I was doing this using an ELAD switch box (RX/TX Automatic exchanger) which basically Isolates the SDR when you transmit (both RF and AF) and in conjunction with Cat cable and Omni rig makes a great combination. Its awesome to see a signal in the waterfall, click it and then work it. No dial turning required
Anyway I digress and way past bedtime
Keep us posted on any info Paul

Ohhh
lucky I've read this ... I was wondering why I needed to start and stop all the time.
Hope Simon is doing an update for this, happy to donate if it works

Re: Using SDR Console.
Our friend Simon Brown updated SDR-Console yesterday and again today. The latest version includes lots of improvements for SDRplay. The details of these (version 2.3 beta build 2171) are listed on http://sdr-radio.com/Radios/SDRPlay and the software can be downloaded from

Re: Using SDR Console.
Hi,
After installing the latest build ( 2178 ) does one still have to install the EXTIO installer into this folder or is that necessary for SDR# and HDSDR ?
Thanks,
Ben - PE2BZ

Re: Using SDR Console.
The ext/io is for hdsdr and sdr# and any other front end that supports the ext/io. Sdr-console does not use this

Re: Using SDR Console.
I am still having the same problems mentioned hear even with the SDR Console V2.3 2194. Is it working for other people?

Re: Using SDR Console.
We at Sdrplay have a call booked this week with Simon Brown at SDR Console to get the latest API working I.e. Removing the gap and allowing tuning across band edges.
