How do I retain IF Gain setting when I close settings?

Post by MTG » Mon Feb 13, 2017 5:20 pm

Hi
I have just obtained an RSP2 Pro for Radio Meteor monitoring and I am using the latest SDRuno with output to Spectrum Lab via VBcable VAC. It all seems to be working OK but I am sure there are tweaks to be made. Yesterday I spent my afternoon injecting a known signal level into the RSP2 and measuring the noise and signal level to get to the optimum SNR. IF AGC was off. I checked the SNR at each RF gain step with IF gain set to 0, 10, 20, 30 and max (39?) and, apart from the unexpected non -uniform way in which these seemed to interact for me, when I closed the settings box the IF gain returns to Zero. Is there a way to prevent this please.

Regards Mike.

Can I assume that this is something that cannot be done?

I'm fixing another bug related to the IF gain slider in SDRuno at the moment and will look at this.

Best regards,
