GNUradio & RSP 1

Post by EA Rob » Sun Feb 19, 2017 5:49 pm

I'm sure someone has some experience with this issue. That is: Is it possible to use the RSP 1 with GNUradio in either windows, or Linux? I've looked high and low for clarity with respect to compatibility between the aforementioned, but as of yet I can find no definitive answer.

First radio I purchased when I was 12 was a RadioShack Realistic Pro 2006 - of course the diodes behind the control panel were the first thing to be clipped. Before I powered it up for the first time.... ;)

Hi
What's your problem?
First install SDRPlay's drivers.
Then you need to compile gr-osmosdr with "Enable_Non_Free" checked (so you can have SDRPlay drivers)
Also, I advise using the "https://github.com/krippendorf/gr-osmosdr-fork-sdrplay" instead of the official gr-osmosdr.
You also have to compile or install GNURadio

I'm using Mac OS X and both GNURadio and Gqrx detect and work with SDRPlay (though no so perfect, but they work)
