sdruno recording

Post by Paul » Tue Jun 06, 2017 6:16 am

Unfortunately, using the record function in SDRUno causes any recording that I make default to recording the LO frequency - OK I suppose as long as the tuned frequency and LO are the same.
However, whilst it is possible to notch out the LO spike in some ssb signals, the LO may not in any case coincide with the tuned frequency.
Obviously, if the LO spike and tuned frequency do not coincide, then a fruitless recording of the LO is the result.
Has anyone else experienced this "feature" and if so, how do you resolve the issue?

Further to my last, I have found that that defaulting to recording the LO frequency only results in the effect mentioned in my last when trying to play the recording back outside of SDRUno, or having left and returned to the programme.
