Rolled back to Uno 1.04 again

Post by W9KJO » Sun Jun 18, 2017 1:21 am

Just realized that the newest Uno 1.13 would only give me two bandwidth choices. but these two did not allow me to open the five VFO's and cover both the 80 and 40 meter bands for digital monitoring with Fldigi. the old version gives me this desired operation.

It confuses me when software companies call themselves upgrading their software when they are degrading operational capability.

I hope SDR UNO will correct these deficiencies in their lasts update in the future

When you mention bandwidth choices, are you referring to IF bandwidth? If so, please check that you were not in Low IF mode as opposed to Zero IF mode. In Low IF mode, you have fewer choices of available IF bandwidth and that has always been the case. There has been no changes to the bandwidths available between 1.04 and 1.13.

Oh ok, Thanks I did not realize this difference. I probably was in Zero If mode as the Low If was interfering with incoming signals. As long as I have used this and I did not realize it. LOL

Well, I may need to reload the more recent version again. But not right now. All is working as needed right now.

Thanks 73
