Big difference in Published SNR

Postby K1FQY » Wed Oct 25, 2017 1:59 am

Hi,
I am looking at getting a RSP1 or RSP2 in reviewing the SNR's it appears the RSP1 is mush poorer than the RSP2.
RSP1 is listed at 12.5@3mhz,12@10mhz and 11.5@20 whereas the RSP2 is 8dB@3,2dB@10,1.6dB@20.
That is a significant difference if the published numbers are correct.
Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks,
Tom

Actually, I did post here the question with no response.
It has to do with the published noise figures of RSP1 vs RSP2

Here is what I posted after not hearing from the company?

Hello Tom,
This is a community forum intended for our community of users to gain knowledge, share information and ideas and not as a company support vehicle. Please see the comments on the banner at the top of the page. This forum is not properly structured to be effective as a support forum, which is why we have a dedicated system for support.
As a company, we primarily monitor posts for content and appropriateness (to avoid spam), but we do not attempt to answer all of the questions that are posted here.
After we received your email today, we opened up a support ticket on your behalf, which I believe has now been answered.

Sincerely
