Audio cuts in and out

Re: Audio cuts in and out
Good morning.
Using SDRUno I have some audio short clippings, only when BW is 8 or 10 MHz. If set to 7 or less, audio is perfect.
The audio interruptions are every 0,5 sec (approx), no matter mode (FM, SSB, AM), and filter setup doesn't have effect.
Also it is present either there are signal or only noise.
Computer is a newest AMD Ryzen 5 with 16 GB RAM and SSD hard drive.
CPU use is less than 10%.
There are no problems when using HDSDR nor with SDR Console (either 2 or 3).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andres.

Check my post right before yours. Make sure SDRuno and your sound card are both set to the same value. Usually either 48khz or 44.1khz

Shall do when at home. I know where to search in the sound card, but, where is the option in SDRUno?
Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure if there is one in SDRuno. I changed it in my sound card first and it solved the problem. So I'm assuming SDRuno default is 44.1khz.

Re: Audio cuts in and out
God moringn,
Tested my SDRPlay 2 + SDRUno with all the audio sampling rates from 22Khz up to 96 Khz. Also using the USB 3 ports.
Result: the same. Sampling 8 MHz (or higher) with SDRUno produces audio clipping. 7 Mhz and lower: no problems.
HDSDR, SDRConsole can use 10 Mhz without any problems, using same hardware.
Thanks,
Andres, Ea7FkT.

Re: Audio cuts in and out
I have the same problem on my Asus M5A99 motherboard computer with an AMD FX-8320E Eight-core processor @3.5 Ghz Windows 10 X64 and Windows 7 X64 (dual boot)).
I disabled several of the USB ports in the BIOS it helped somewhat. (It now begins to stutter at 4MHZ Decimation 1.)
I tried my SDRPlay RSP2 on a Dell E5400 Laptop (Intel Dual Core 2.53 Ghz CPU, 2GB RAM, Win 7 32bit.)
The SDRPlay runs smoothly at 10Mhz and Decimation 1.
Perplexing.
