New owner of RSP2P

Postby JohnAE5X » Tue May 15, 2018 1:45 pm

I received my RSP2Pro 6 days ago and can't keep myself away from it. Getting it to work with WSJT-X was a simple 5 minute's clicking of the mouse and then FT8 and WSPR sigs filled the screen on every band I tried.

I bought the device after learning of the spectrum analyzer program being written for it - that was the final push toward purchasing something I've had my eye on for quite a while. In the meantime, it's fun to let the thing run overnight and then see who I heard in the morning. Some examples of that are here: ... -role.html

My main rig in the shack is a Flex 6300 and before that, an Anan 10E, so I'm no stranger to SDR - but never thought I'd get so much enjoyment out of a rx-only SDR radio.

73 from Houston,
