Re: Working on HP Stream 7" tablet?

Bit late, but no problem running the SDR Play on my tablet since the signed drivers came out :)

I don't know what the consumption is, but I ran SDR sharp with the SDRPlay on my tablet for a couple of hours, recording IQ files most of that time and there was still about 1/3 battery left.

Re: Request : Out of range warning

This has slightly improved the situation. In order for this to work, I have to have the selector 100kHz right of the display center. At this position, I get lots of images around 6MHz. If I have the selector further to the right I still get the issues with the error box when people want to tune to L...

Re: Request : Out of range warning

A bit more on this.... How come I can still tune down to 0kHz DC and even into the minus kHz as long as the DC isn't moved too close to or beyond the center of the display? Also, shouldn't the error box appear only when you have moved the selector below 100kHz and not dependent on where DC is in the...

Request : Out of range warning

I am using my SDR Play via SDR# on Global Tuners at times and other users come on and tune the SDR occasionally. Other users don't know what they are doing and I find occasionally somebody tries to tune out of range. Can the out of range warning window be given a switch so that I can turn it off - b...

Updates to SDR# plugin?

Some questions...

Will there still be updates to the SDR# plugin?

Will these updates be geared towards those who have chosen to stick with SDR# 1361 or lower?

Thanks :)

Re: IQ Correction

Hi Yes, I've read a bit more about this kind of thing now. There seem to be two different image problems. One is the IQ problem which is difficult to completely get rid of as the IQ correction in SDR# isn't quite doing the job. Though it is pulling the spike down quite a lot I still get a significan...

Re: Working on HP Stream 7" tablet?

I seemed to have no trouble installing the drivers on my Win 8 tablet, but when it came to running SDR Sharp, it gave an initialising error. I assumed this was because of the SDRPlay wanting more power than the tablet could supply.

Re: IQ Correction

Hi. I'm a brand new SDRPlay owner. I've been using the RTL dongles by NooElec for the past couple of years. I was wondering, with the SDRPlay, should the IQ spike drop completely into the noise or is it normal for there to still be a little bit of a spike? Also, is this IQ problem connected to the i...
