Re: Tuning steps again.
sdrplay Every time I closed the application, only running 1 instance. The steps would go to a default setting. To test I set "steps" AM to 9Khz & FM 12.5Khz. Switched off, waited until it closed. Restarted, back to default again. Then tried delete ini file from the start menu. Restated & switched on...

Re: Tuning steps again.
Agree Andy.It would work out better, when a step size was selected for a mode, say 12.5khz for NFM it was written back to the .ini on close down.
ie remembers last settings.

Feature request
Inconsistency between SSB steps when selecting modes, USB 500 Hz LSB 100 Hz Default FM steps are 5 Khz at start-up, after setting to desired step, say 12.5Khz, can this be stored in the .ini so at next start the step defaults to last used.So say maintaining 12.5 Khz steps etc Mode FM with NFM select...

Re: re: having to reset to defaults on sdruno start up
Re Frequency step defaults. Yes they don't stick, so when uno is closed & then restarted, back to default. Not good. I want 12.5 khz for NFM at startup. I have located the .ini file, it appears that changed values in step sizes are not being written back to the .ini when the application closes. Some ...

Re: Proposed upgrades to RSP1 no cancelled ??
225 to 425 is not really usable even with external bandpass filters fitted due to images. Keith You need a sharp low pass filter - cutting off just below the MW band. This might be of interest http://www.radiohobbyist.org/blog/?p=1894 add a couple of extra sections for even sharper attenuation. Dav...

Re: Proposed upgrades to RSP1 no cancelled ??
Hm, I would say most of the wishes for the RSP 1 have been recognized and the result is the RSP2. Only thing I don't like with the RSP2 is the high impedance antenna input for VLF and LF. I am using an active antenna there which has a 50 Ohms output. So the recent buyers of the RSP1 have funded the...
