I followed the instructions you provided and am now getting some valid results from SoapySDR.

Did that setup guide ever get published somewhere? I am similarly stuck. I installed the API. Ran LSUSB, see the SRDplay in a USB port. Checked UDEV, and the device is listed in the rules. Installed and compiled SoapySDR. Unplugged and plugged the SDR. Everything seems right. Next I enter "SoapySDRU...
