Re: Page of free sofware for SDR!!!
So after you get the playback sorted out with vb. Cable what do you tune sigmara to? Or does it know you are using the vbcable? Will you be able to hear the audio of the sdruno? Kind of hard to figure out what a signal is by the waterfall, not impossible, but not practical, not something I would do ...

What do the differant FFT's do?
I know they change something but I can't make sense of what. Is there one that better for SW listening ( not the sound but looking at the signal)? Or would it be better for depending on the type of modulation your listening to?

How do you use wspr and SDR?
I downloaded the newest program, as I'm on a windows 10 laptop so no sound card per say.
I just car about receiving, but I get the error of invalid input and output.

Page of free sofware for SDR!!!
http://www.rv3apm.com/ I downloaded the sigmira program and it seems I have finally found a way to listen to the digital signals on the sdr. I'm currently trying to decode my first signal as its alot of guess work. I think the CW mode is a way to decode Morse but so far I have only seen it display g...

Re: How to get rid of phantom signal from SDR?
When ever I open my SDR the station it was last tuned to always has a phantom signal stuck on that location on the spectrum. When you tune up and down that signal always remains at that spot. Really annoying. You're in 'Zero IF' mode. What you see is the DC spike that remains fixed on the LO freque...

How to get rid of phantom signal from SDR?
When ever I open my SDR the station it was last tuned to always has a phantom signal stuck on that location on the spectrum. When you tune up and down that signal always remains at that spot. Really annoying. In this screen shot I'm trying to pick up ADSb, which is strange I can't see it but there a...

HD radio on SDRPlay
Is there a way to listen to the HD radio on the FM or AM band with the SDR? Only things I found on google were old posts from 2013 where no one had developed anything.

Re: Frequency Sweeps? What? Who?
I always have a hard time figuring out whether these signals are manmade or natural, and more importantly if they are even real in the first place; there are ALOT of phantom signals that live inside my SDR. I.E. the sweep that goes up, if you tune down at the same rate, your tuning down, you can onl...

Re: RSP2 for radio astronomy
So whats the hard part about doing this? Is it building the antenna? Finding a RF quiet location? Making software that works? I imagine you would use that linux based receiver software that are like modulals or building blocks to make the receiver software. Does anyone know what thats called? They f...
