Re: rtl_power for SDRPlay?
So rx_tools worked great on the SRP1. When using rx_power on the RSP1A i get the following:
Any ideas?
Code: Select all
Error: bad retune at 88500000 Hz (4 of 3 attempts), r=-5, flags=0 (try increasing -S or -R).
Error: reading stream -5

Enhancement request for SDR Uno
SDR Uno is used as pan adapter for a TS-590. Workflow is as follows: - Select a frequency either on the radio or on SDR Uno. - Change the band on SDR Uno. The radio switches band as well. - Change the band on the radio. SDR Uno doesn't change band. It would be nice if SDR Uno would switch band whene...

Re: Duo and Mac OS
1) One may assume so, but i leave that up to the SDRPlay guys to respond. 2) There are a couple of options, however, no "better" ones yet. So there is SDR Uno in VMWare/Parallels/VirtualBox/etc. I run it on VMWare and that works ok. Complete waste of resources, though. All the other options are infe...

When to use OmniRig and when to use CAT?
I am using SDR Uno as a panadapter for my TS-590. As far as i can see there are two ways of connecting SDR Uno to the rig. OmniRig and CAT. The manual doesn't explain well when to use OmniRig and when to use CAT. OmniRig works fine, CAT i was never able to work. What i am looking for is for SDR Uno ...

[Solved] Re: Moved from RSP1 to RSP1a and now i see this...
Yeah, this is CubicSDR. I would really love to use SDR Uno, but you would have to create a Mac or Linux version of it. Currently i have it installed in a VM, but it's just not as fluid as CubicSDR. Mainly because CPU usage is just too high. BTW, i don't see the spikes with the antenna port disconnec...

Moved from RSP1 to RSP1a and now i see this...
My RSP1 broke and now i have an RSP1a. I use the RSP with SDRPlay and i have made no changes to the software. After all, there is not so much you can actually change. This is what i see on all the bands: Screenshot 2018-10-13 at 19.50.04.jpg Notice the spikes? This is on 40m. When i listen on one of...

Re: SDRPlay server?
Yeah, I'm looking to use SdrDx. I guess I'll have to see if there are any protocol differences between SoapySDR and SdrDx because OOTB they won't connect.

Re: SDRPlay server?
Which apps are you using? Apparently SdrDx is not "Soapy-aware".
