Fantastic news and answers! The only thing I really would hate to lose is my AM Sync no matter how much software power, rejection and sensitivity there is. I'm just used to operate with that little option! I'm getting excited on which one to choose (Probably SDRplay) as I already have antennas ready...

Is there anything similiar to Synchronous Detection on these guys or is it just called something else? I remember some rigs that had "Exalted Sideband" or some such acronym?

Shortwave Radio (aka HF 2000-30,000kHz)
Just wondering if there are any others that are purely shortwave radios listeners about? I've been an SWL since about 1992 and my usual rig is a Grundig Satellit 800. She's a beauty but the new SDR radios and software will destroy it on sensitivity, rejection and options with the same antennas I use...

Greetings! I'm ordering my SDR in a week or two here but before this I have been listening to HF on my 2002 Grundig Satellit 800. It is a great receiver but I expect when I get my antennas on SDRPlay it is going to show me a few new things! Any tips or tricks for an old dog out here making the leap ...
