My SDRplay 2 works just fine with out a balun on my 80 meter delta loop works fine on my Wellbrook loop work fine on my vertical i don't use a balun with any of my sdr stuff

Why use the balun at all .What software are you using

I also bought it Does not work with my Elad-S1 but works ok with a RTL Dongle V3 it seems unfinished to me in my opinion SDR Console is far ahead ......

I am helping a fellow Ham hes 200 miles from me so its hard to see hands on whats going on other to say keep getting errors in setup with console them in hdsdr can't find the rsp1 ?? .............

Can't get play to work with hdsdr and rsp 1 the xp computer will support usb 2 any ideas thanks

I use the elad box and just bought the mfj Switch box and have not had a problem at 1000 watts with the RSP-2 ..

My HF Radio is Ten Tec Orion no receive out and no software command to mute audio ..I us a Switch Box made by Elad to control rf and audio and i use one antenna 80 Meter loop @ 60 ft it has worked well for me last 2 years i use a Elad sdr or Afedri and now messsing with RSP2 .......... http://ecom.e...

Have you tried with out the balun ya never know and what kind of balun is it ?
