Re: Useing team viewer (and another Rasp PI vertual viewer)
I toyed with the idea of using Remote Desktop to control a PC running SDRUno, but the thing that didn't work at all was the rendering of the spectrum views and waterfall. These performed really badly and the rapid screen updates choked the responsiveness of the RDP session. I've also used TeamViewer...

SDRUno selected tuner/port startup bug with RSPDuo?
I have my RSPDuo set up with a whip antenna connected to the 50 ohm port on Tuner 1, and a long wire antenna connected through a 9:1 balun connected to the 50 ohm port on Tuner 2. When SDRUno starts, the UI indicates that the Tuner 2 50 ohm port is selected (the state that it was in when SDRUno was ...

Re: Ideas for future Updates
This is probably a big ask, but it would be great to able to spectrum record to a format that supports larger files than WAV can cope with. The hand off from file to file introduces a noticeable gap / stutter during recording and playback, which spoils audio recordings made from the playback (partic...

Re: Frequency in SDRUno and hardware drift apart
I assumed it was operator error, or that I had changed a setting somewhere. If I can find a simple sequence of actions to create the discrepancy, I'll give support a try.
As it is, I'm really enjoying the RSP2, my first foray into SDR.

Re: Frequency in SDRUno and hardware drift apart
Just to update my first post, Yesterday I came across a faint English language station, but the frequency was clearly wrong in an area of the bands where broadcast stations simply don't operate. Usually it happens after an explore of various frequencies where I'm typing in a frequency directly, spot...

Re: Poor RX Signals on the RSP2
I've been happy so far with HF reception on my RSP2 Pro, especially having to tackle QRM in the area.
I've used a Wellbrook loop through the Hi-Z port and A terminal, the Hi-Z working best, and making sure the RF Gain reduction is at an appropriate level.

Re: How to Decode Digital Modes Reliably
Some additional information. I set up my own short range experiment using a dummy load, and tried different different decimation values. Images were largely upright except decimation 1 which had some very odd distortions. 2 looked pretty close, but 4 and 8 had some odd slants. Of course there was no...

How to Decode Digital Modes Reliably
I used my RSP2 Pro in anger for the first time yesterday to receive and record a digital modes broadcast consisting of MFSK32 text, images and Olivia modes. The result from the human ear perspective was good although with periodic audio stutters. For computer decoding however, the recording was almo...

Frequency in SDRUno and hardware drift apart
Bought my RSP2 Pro from MLS yesterday, spending today getting into it. A couple of niggles so far, the most important being that the frequency displayed in SDRUno seems to get out of step with the hardware. At startup, all is fine, but during the process of changing frequency through a combination o...
