I use the sdrplay 2 with a 30ft long wire antenna in a apaetment so certainly not scientific. But the prerfomance is similiar to my eton e1 so i would say the sdrplay 2 is fairly good for shortwave.

I think it would be agood feature for sdruno to have fine tuning
