Re: Why do my posts suddenly need moderator approval?
I agree that the link posted by ernestyn on the definition and effects of various levels of moderation is relevant. 1. Pre-moderation "...It is most suited to communities with a high level of legal risk such as celebrity-based ones, or communities where child protection is vital." A feature I have n...

I also have the mouse wheel scrolling issue for the frequency selection control. When I hover the mouse over a digit the gray box appears, but scrolling the mouse wheel does nothing. If I click on the digit the box starts flashing and the keyboard arrow keys reliably change the digits. Windows 7/64 ...

Diversity Demo in Xenia
Hi, this is for Andy. I was one of those privileged few to see the diversity reception demonstration at Xenia Ohio at the Hamvention. I spoke at length to you about it. I was delighted with the conversation. There is one bit from that conversation that I suspect you may wish you had not said, and th...

Re: Protection agains lightning strikes
You have asked for help on an immense topic. Ham radio operators have been grappling with that question for decades. For starters there are many, many good resources you could familiarize yourself with, such as http://www.arrl.org/lightning-protection or https://www.polyphaser.com/ . How much money ...

Re: RSP2 became deaf
A couple of questions: Is the signal path exactly the same to the RSP and the Yaesu? Same cable, same adapters etc? Try replacing any that differ even if they look fine. Does the problem exist at HF? Re: Ignore silence during recording?
Until SDRuno implements this feature, if you are on Windows you can use Audacity open source software. Under the Transport menu select Transport Options > Sound Activated Recording. You can then set the level at which recording is triggered.

Re: Feedback for version 1.0a here
Thank you again, this is truly fantastic software. Here I show my return loss for a homebrew 443 MHz antenna I made in 5 min from some solid wire and a BNC connector. I am using the wide band noise generator and mini-circuits directional coupler method.
