Re: AM Broadcast Stations on 22 MHz

Amazon sells them for 16.95USD, but the 3db frequency is 2.5MhZ which would attenuate 160 Meter band, they have SMA connectors.

Re: my problem with ..uno

From what I can tell by viewing the audio spectrum with PDBPF filter on and off. It acts as a low-pass filter with a cut off around 8 kHz

Re: A FOOLPROOF ANTENNA SWITCH

One other thing if I may: NEVER THE LESS OLD COAXIAL RELAYS, WHICH HAVE TO MAKE ANTENNA TO RECEIVER AND ARE NOT SEALED., RARELY FAIL. IF YOU HAVE CONTRARY INFO, Since it is your claim, It is your responsibility to show coaxial relays "rarely fail". I'm not going to do your homework. Regard...

Re: A FOOLPROOF ANTENNA SWITCH

that doesn't sound like something the engineering people at Panasonic would write. Are you sure your not making it up as you go along?

Re: A FOOLPROOF ANTENNA SWITCH

For starters you use a relay designed for the task, they range in price from $3.55 to over $100. Or you get an old walkie talkie at a flea market and salvage the send receive relay from it. Either way these add ons wouldn't be necessary.

Re: A FOOLPROOF ANTENNA SWITCH

Years ago I purchased a new Akai reel to reel stereo tape deck. It had many features. One of them was auto-reversing. It enabled playback of a full tape, both sides without the need to remove the full reel flip it over and place on the right capstan, and rethread to the empty reel. To accomplish thi...

Re: AM Broadcast Stations on 22 MHz

If you set your SDR to 24000000 (24 mhz) you will be tuned to the SDRplay's local oscillator (within a few hertz). Center this frequency in the screen, enter ZIF mode & select a sample rate of 4.0 mhz. You will see any image products generated from 0 to 2 mhz starting at 24mhz up to 26mhz with a...

Re: A FOOLPROOF ANTENNA SWITCH

glovisol: This would certainly help solve the contact resistance problem. However I see the need for two DC blocks (one at Rx In, the second at Rx Out) to prevent the relay contact biasing current from being shunted to ground by any upstream or downstream shunt inductors or RF transformers in the an...

Re: AM Broadcast Stations on 22 MHz

I have 22MHZ loaded with images at night from the AM BCB. I'm using the hi_z port. I was going to say use mw/fm notch filter. I just tried that after switching to the A port on the RSP2. That doesn't help a bit. Wondering why. That gonna be just great when good propagation returns.

Re: A FOOLPROOF ANTENNA SWITCH

Hello Phil & govisol. Hope there are no hard feelings but in any event I had to chime in on this discussion. Hope you don't mind. So here goes. You wrote: "which are not dry, by the way, because they switch RF currents when diverting TX power away from the RSP into a load resistor" The...
