is there any way of forcing the software ( sdruno ) or any other software, to allow the sdr-play pro2 to go above 2 ghz .... say to around 2.5 ghz or more ??

just for info i am using an sdrplay rsp-pro2 my antenna is a ground mounted hustler 6 btv tuned for the ham bands, with 50 feet of rg 8x coax, a 4 to one balun on the rsp 2 pro i can copy the very low power airport beacons 60 mile away from me ... my qth is in a vally between two mountain ranges her...

i agree with the lightning protection, there are adds in qst and other ham radio pubs ... antennas, for hf, screwdriver antenna, magnetic loop, anything with a decent amount of wire, also an antenna tuner will be good ... vhf / uhf,, discone for general use, small yagi, satellite antennas, any of th...

as mentioned in the operating manuel, the sdr antenna must not be in the near field of any transmitting antennas .... so, what does this mean ??? how many feet / meters should the sdr antenna be located away from my transmitting antennas.. i will be using a long wire for hf / a discone for vhf/uhf a...
