Re: Omnrig Issues (I think)
Ryan, You got more response out of Kenwood than I did. I emailed them about it yesterday and have gotten nothing. I hope this isn't how their support operates. I have an old Icom R-75 receiver, out of production and 15 years old that had a problem. I contacted Icom and they were very responsive in ...

Re: Omnrig Issues (I think)
Russ, Sorry I didn't get back. I gave up on this post when I didn't get any replies. The older driver version solved the problem and everything works as it should. That link Roger posted from the SDR Console group is my post also and where I finally figured out what was wrong. Make sure you save the...

Re: SDR UNO and Logging Apps
I have a Kenwood TS-590SG and what is nice about this radio is you can use the USB port and the RS-232 port at the same time. So basically 2 usable com ports for one radio. RS-232 port controls my logging program which is also N3FJP and the USB port runs Omnirig which contols my SDR.

Re: SDRUno vs. Others
rzar66: My experience with SDRUno is similar to yours. I can operate on my Intel Core2 2.5 ghz Dell laptop at the full sample rate with 32 bit Windows 7 but on my Win 7 64 bit 3.2 ghz 10 core cpu system SdrUno chokes when the SR exceeds 5 Mhz. As pgoelz suggests, and I concur, the bottleneck may re...

Re: SDRUno vs. Others
Here are the specs of my computer. Probably overkill for my Ham Radio needs but I got it on sale for a good price. I tried switching USB ports with no change to the audio issue with SDRuno. SDR Console runs flawlessly. Processor & Memory: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Processor at 3.0GHz 16GB DDR4 (2-DIMM) RAM D...

Re: SDRUno vs. Others
Well I will try to figure out why the audio is cutting out with Uno. I know I have more than enough computer for it.

Re: SDRUno vs. Others
Thanks for the reply. I also use it as a panadapter for my 590SG. I like both Uno and SDR Console but with Uno the audio drops out if I look at more the 5 MHz of spectrum. With Console I can look at the whole 10 MHz with no problems. Don't understand that because neither program is taxing my compute...

SDRUno vs. Others
Hello all. New to SDR radios and a fairly new ham. My question is how does SDRUno work better with my RSP1A vs. other programs like SDR Console? Or what can SDRUno do that SDR Console cannot with my RSP1A?

Re: SDR-Console + Omnirig Problem CAT
Hi I have problem with Omnirig and SDR-Console 3. But not with SDR-CONSOLE 2.3 I have the following message 00:37:07.008 Error creating OmniRig instance (Flags = CLSCTX_LOCAL_SERVER | REGCLS_MULTIPLEUSE) - Error Code 0x800702E4, possibly 'L00:37:07.008 OmniRig: creating instance (Flags = CLSCTX_ALL...
