Re: RSP Spectrum analyser software available shortly
Nice! Would this be able to do modulation analysis as well? (i.e. QPSK, 16QAM, FM deviation, analog % modulation etc.)

Re: RSP1A Bias -T
I haven't looked at the schematic, but typically a voltage is added to an RF line through an RF Choke/inductor. Remove that, and tap into the non-RF side. Good luck.

Re: Anyone ? - An SDRplay Radio Used As The Core Module
There are many Android-based double-din car radios that are affordably priced.
I have often imagined having one of those based around the RSP.
Hopefully, that's in the works.

Re: Do not connect to an antenna in the nearfield of a transmitting antenna?
Maximum input is either 0 or 10dBm (I can't recall at the moment). If your field strength will be that high at the antenna port, add an attenuator. Never leave your RSP at home

Re: Audio output on Circuit board to solve latency?
Is there a point on the RSP1 circuit board to sample analog audio? If there was a way to directly grab audio before it get converted to digital and sent to the USB port, that would solve the latency issues. Take a look at this article that RadioUser did in December 2014 about the RSP. In the block ...

Re: Antenna Ports A & B Reversed
All of these symptoms seem to point to your IF gain being too high. Have you tried to take your RSP to your friend's house and look at it working on his computer? Or have his on your computer? Take your time and play with the settings. Go through the manual page by page. This is an excellent device....

Also, be sure that your VFO is offset from your LO. Many issues can occur when don't offset them.

Are you installing Version 1.22? Perhaps try rolling back to an earlier version.

Re: Newbie question
I think what is meant is an active transmit antenna. You don't want to send high power into your RSP that has a 1mW input limit, hence the warnings. Even if you have a TX/RX switch, it might fail and toast your box. If your "TX antenna" is disconnected from any active transmitting radio, then it's j...

Re: Ideas for future Updates
1. Add the ability to demodulate the Quadrature signal when in SAM-DSB (Synch AM). Currently, we can only hear the In-phase signal. This would allow for distortion analysis and background monitoring. When in SAM, I could choose DSB-I (default) or DSB-Q (perhaps in a settings menu). 2. Allow the De-E...
