DAB radio is mp2, but DAB plus is AAC

Just connect it to the hi-z port, it will work fine.

I have seen this problem as well.

HDSDR controls the sdrplay, omnirig controls your ft-30000.

The Sdrplay started off with an F connector, but was not liked by many.
Does the shielding make any difference.
If you had used a 5 MM led with a panel mounting clip, you could of fitted it in the hole where the SMA was.

Simple answer is no, never in a million years.
It does not a USB port.
