Re: Feed Audio to DSD+ and speakers at the same time?
Thanks for your help both here and at Facebook (unless I'm working with two different Rogers here). Once I started up the second VRX things quickly came to light for me. It's a quite different way of doing things than I've been used to but I think it's going to be a pretty darned good one. I appreci...

Re: Feed Audio to DSD+ and speakers at the same time?
That would work, sure, but then I'd also be listening to the digital stream at the same time I'd be trying to hear the decoded audio I would think. For a while I had one of the Elad SDR's that covered HF and up into the VHF-HI range. Its native software had a second simultaneous audio output that di...

Feed Audio to DSD+ and speakers at the same time?
Hello, I've just jumped back into the RSP world; I've owned a few of the original RSP1's over time and just bought the RSP2 Pro, which should be arriving today. I have seen some reference to DSD being successfully used and I understand the need to output the audio via VAC or VB Cable. My question is...

Re: VHF and Above - Initial Observations
I should have followed up. After my post I discovered that I had to swap I & Q when I was using a 5 MHz bandwidth. At 2 MHz there was not an issue. I was pressed for time at that point so I didn't try any other spans and I'm not in a position to test further right now. I can't speak to the VLF issue...

VHF and Above - Initial Observations
First off, many thanks for providing this software. Here are a few observations and thoughts. To be clear none of these are complaints; I respect and applaud the fact that this software is being provided for free given its history. 1. Should the WME output device when set to my installed Virtual Aud...

Re: SDRplay and Studio1
Please do not forget those of us that use this device on VHF and above. It seems that just about all of the SDR software out there (one particular package excepted) caters almost exclusively to HF monitoring.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops. Thanks.

Re: ZeusRadio may soon be compatile with SDRPLay
Am I correct that this software appears to cater only to the HF spectrum? From the YouTube video that would appear to be the case.

Re: SDR# End of support of the ExtIO interface?
It appears to me that the removal of extio interface support may not necessarily have been to cut of SDRPlay, but instead from dozens of different devices/developers jumping on board and using SDR# as the "preferred" software platform for their device, and then maybe blaming the software when someth...

Re: Going Forward: VHF and Above Software Choices
CubicSDR looks interesting. Apparently the support currently is limited to the RTL dongles. I've never tried it but I'm going to give it a look. As far as reaching out to would-be software developers, I think it would be best to leave that in the hands of the SDRPlay developers and let them decide h...

Going Forward: VHF and Above Software Choices
Hello, As I observe usage of the SDRPlay at this website, Radio Reference, the Facebook page, etc., it appears to me that there is a distinct majority using the RSP for HF and not as concerned about VHF/UHF use. Maybe I'm mistaken but please read on. As I primarily use my RSP for VHF and above, and ...
