Got that but why not advance the design to incorporate modern interfaces. USB 3.0, USB 3.1, etc...

Why are new models still using USB 2.0?

Hi. I am running my SDRPlay RSP1A box on my Linux and Mac Machine using CubicSDR. I was wondering if anyone has tried running the PC software on their Mac OSX running the Program called CrossOver for MAC. https://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover-mac/ Can I use this software on my Mac for $40 ...

You do know it’s a PITA.
You do know most users first stop for support is the manufacturers website.
You do know that SDRplay has links on said website to OLD versions.

So, would be kind of nice to update and keep current don’t you think? They do it for other OS versions.
