Re: New, happy user
Hi Tony I've used SDR-Console and SDR Uno and to be honest I haven't enjoyed my experiences with the latter and always gone back to 'Console'. I'd like to know in what way the filtering and functionality on Uno is better? I might well have missed something, so I'd be genuinely interested to hear you...

Re: Newbie With A Question
Hi Henry www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01EYK7F04 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003MQ29B2 As per above, make sure to buy a USB lead with ferrite choke to minimise conducted spurii from the PC etc. I bought the two items above and they work fine with my RSP2Pro. For HF (up to 30MHz), just stick a bit of wire up outside...

Re: Convince me to stay with SDRPlay (or the opposite)
I spent a lot of time on servers doing A/B comparisons between HF+ and RSP2. There were tiny (mostly no detectable) differences between the HF+ (which I was keen to buy after the glowing RadCom review) and the SDR Play offerings. The main man behind the HF+ (Yousef) has a very strange manner (mostly...

Re: RF Gain control on SDR-Console V3
Hi Paul Thank you for your answer but my original question relates only to SDR-Console software, not Uno as I am not a lover of the Uno software (too many separate window instances for a start). I am aware from many other posts that the 'gain' control in Uno operates in the reverse sense and because...

Re: RF Gain control on SDR-Console V3
Hello Ron Thank you for your reply. I did post on SDR-Radio forum as mentioned but no definitive reply sadly. I would be grateful if you could explain why the observed (and heard) noise floor rises with increased attenuation at the front end? My expectation would be that raising the gain in the fron...

RF Gain control on SDR-Console V3
Apologies if this has been asked before but searched and cannot find as the bulk of users here seem to use SDR Uno, so to be clear it's SDR-Console V3 I'm asking about, and receiver is SDRPlay RSP2Pro. With no antenna connected to any input and with antenna switch select to Input A or B, IF gain set...
