Re: Scanner feature problems
Hi StandingWave, Mixing bands does seem to work with SDRuno Rel 1.31, although the points made by Tech_Support in the thread “SDRuno Rel 1.3 Memory Scanning” should be noted. I have not noticed any major limitations so far. The comment from Tech_Support about manually editing the s1B files is very v...

Re: Scanner feature problems
Hi StandingWave, Just a quick note on the filter setting. It is possible to edit the memory file using any text editor (such as notepad) and change the filter bandwidth to any permissible value for the operating mode. In the example below, the first entry was changed from 6000 to 8000. Filter.JPG Re...

Re: SDRuno Rel 1.3 Memory Scanning
Many thanks for adding the enhanced capability in SDRuno 1.31. Extract from Release Notes: “Memory Panel scan now uses the mode, sub-mode and filter bandwidth that is defined in the memory panel.” In my opinion this now makes the RSP with SDRuno an excellent general purpose scanner. Congratulations ...

Re: SDRuno Rel 1.3 Memory Scanning
Hi, Thanks for the prompt response. All points noted and understood. It would still be useful to monitor a variety of bands. Assuming memory banks are organised as suggested, I wonder if it would then be possible to scan multiple memory banks. Example: Aircraft (AM) >> 2m Ham Band (NFM) >> 70cm Ham ...

SDRuno Rel 1.3 Memory Scanning
Receiver: RSP1A Thank you very much for adding scanning in Rel 1.3 of SDRuno. Question: When using the scanning function and with the “Scan Mode” set to “MEM”, should the “Mode” (e.g.AM, FM) be used during the scanning process? SDRuno Rel V1.3 (Screenshots) image_1.JPG The memory file contains both ...

Re: SDRuno Rel 1.24 Behaviour on 70cm Band
Hi, Thanks for the prompt response. These are the steps I have tried to replicate the issue with SDRuno 1.24. 1. Starting from a condition of default settings 2. Set RF ATTEN to minimum. This step is not actually necessary 3. Select Bands, Ham Upper 4. Select 70cm 5. RSP1A now appears to be in a str...

SDRuno Rel 1.24 Behaviour on 70cm Band
Receiver: RSP1A Antenna: External 2M/70cm Collinear Possible Issue: I have noticed a strange behaviour on the 70cm band with SDRuno Rel 1.24. Please refer to the information below. It seems that the receiver front end filters or gain blocks may not be getting configured correctly. image_1.JPG image_...
