Just to stop by to report that I finally managed firmware upgrade on my ERASynth+ On first try, unit was bricked by my mistake, but second with some support went ok. Unit now working like charm, through USB/RS232 and direct terminal commands. The W10 and WEB applications still have some bugs, hope u...

@Steve Just to inform about first bump along the way ;) Arduino Virtual COM Port in Windows 10 Device Manager installation, without Arduino HW is impossible mission so far. Installation went smooth.

18 MHz only?!
My circuit (above) is working nice up to FM broadcasting band.
Above that, on Aviation AM band can hear the difference.
One day I may measure real performance...

it was pleasure to read and write some comments on this important topic.
My opinion is that your concerns about response time are just right.
I am using above device since 2015. on my summer stormy island location, so far no damage behind
or within device.
