Re: rtl_power for sdrplay?
I had a look when I saw first the posting on the RTL-SDR site. Uses SoapySDR and is unfortunately 64bit and not 32bit compatible (I think). Most modern hardware supports 64bit O/S's, however there are still a lot of users with 32bit O/S's (i.e. 32bit Windows 7/8/8.1 and even 10) SDR Scanner works OK...

Re: Bandwidth, selectivity and gain
Not meaning to hijack your thread, but I second the comment on being able to use the SDRPlay with something like RTLSDRScanner. Better yet would be something like SpectrumSpy that is now part of the software suite for SDRSharp on the Airspy R2 and mini. In fact I find SpectrumSpy so useful that I bo...

Re: Doppler Correction
I haven't got there yet but I too have a need for this. My first thoughts are using GPREDICT (satellite tracking program) and HAMLIB connection to SDRuno. *should* work but I haven't tried it yet. I don't think there is a DDE solution like HDSDR or SDRSharp for SDRuno yet but may not be required if ...

Re: Problem with SDRUno and RTL-SDR stick.
for SDRuno ver 1.01 or greater, you will need to put the rtlxxxx.dll's in your "my documents" folder. there was a minor fix from ver 1.00 to 1.01 in order for SDRuno to use the "my documents" folder for storage of VRX's. It had the side effect that for any other hardware which uses a xxxxx.dll that ...

Re: SDRuno, RTL-SDR, FIFI-SDR, Softrock, and Airspy
Dave said: Airspy will be a no go for now as it will not sample slower than 2.5mps and you need the extio_airspy_cmake_mgw version of the dll as the ExtIO_AirSpy version does not support all the hooks SDRuno requires. It will at least loads the cmake version. So for now extio usage is a bit of a dra...

Re: SDRuno, RTL-SDR, FIFI-SDR, Softrock, and Airspy
Success! I got SDRuno v1.1 working with FIFI SDR on Windows 10. You need to install the FIFI driver first and then ensure you have the Si570 EXTIO DLL copied into the (for now maybe) the my documents folder and the SDRuno folder for good measure. Also, you will need libusb0.dll (I think - I needed i...

Re: SDRuno, RTL-SDR, FIFI-SDR, Softrock, and Airspy
Paul, Thank you, that was just the answer I was looking for. I had everything all in the right place for RTL dongle but kept getting an error about sample rate. I just never tried anything less than 1 msps. Works like a charm except that I have to re-select sample rate and ppm correction every time ...

SDRuno, RTL-SDR, FIFI-SDR, Softrock, and Airspy
good day all, I am not trying to rock the boat as it were given the past history of SDRSharp and SDRPlay differing points of view. It was a shame it happened but hopefully we can all move on. In any case, I have been using SDRuno with my SDRPlay for several days and am very please with it overall. H...

SDRPlay and Linux, MAC OS, and Windoze
Downloaded, installed, and spent some time playing with SDRuno last night. First impressions are very good. Although I used an older version of SDRSharp for some things, my fallback has generally been to HDSDR. SDR Console V2 is feature packed and worked quite well but don't much like the look and f...
