Re: Does SDRuno support plugins ?

Hi Vipersan, My understanding is that SDRplay is planning on plugin support for an upcoming version of SDRuno using a new upcoming API; refer to article here: https://www.sdrplay.com/?s=plugin+support . As Mike2459 pointed out, there are a few articles available on the weather satellite image recept...

Re: oh.... what have I done?

You have purchased an exceptional SDR for your needs. The RSP2 can provide the foundation for what you are looking for and more. For voice/traditional radio reception, try SDRuno, the highly acclaimed application from SDRplay found here: https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/ . Once you are familiar wit...

Re: GOES 16 reception help

Looks like you are receiving the GOES HRIT signal fairly well, though it is hard to tell for sure based on the scale you have selected. The signal circled in red below is the GOES HRIT signal (when sending its "null" data pattern and not yet transmitting images). You need an SNR of around ...

Re: HRIT and LRIT Low-Cost System

The new country and state boundary feature of the USA-Satcom GOES XRIT File Manager allows determining where weather phenomena are occurring by state more easily.

Re: HRIT and LRIT Low-Cost System

Now that GOES 17 is transmitting images, you can get an even better view. (Note: GOES 17 is not yet in full service at this time.) The HRIT images from both GOES 16 and GOES 17 provide a nice view of the Earth via the SDRplay RSP2 (or RSP1A or RSPduo), NOAA GOES Satellites, NooElec SAWbird GOES LNA ...
