It looks very unlikely to me that water among USB terminals could damage the RSP2 USB interface, unless you were drinking salt water. Who said 0.9a does not work with RSPduo?

Out of curiosity I improvised a quick test. Downloaded & started 0.9a, then turned RSPduo on & loosely coupled to a 10 MHz generator: it works! Excuse this quick & preliminary test. Screen pics enclosed.
