Re: SDRPlay - Future Plans

Hi Dan, I have some experience (as G4ABQ) successfully decoding HF Fax on 14MHz using the SDRplay RSP. Also we''ve put together a video clip showing near 70dB dynamic range achieved under blocking conditions on Band II. Take a look on www.jonhudson.net/sdrplay.htm which includes as yet unreleased we...

Re: Antenna input socket

Thanks to Jondan - the advantage of your suggestion is you get a nice length of coax as well. We are going to start shipping a BNC adapter with each RSP as an interim solution

Re: Antenna input socket

I totally agree with g5vu about the F type connector - Why ?\n\nHowever I have solved the problem fairly quickly by the use of these :-\n\nhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271059272276?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&var=570113911496&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT\n\n\nhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331314919982?_t...

Re: Antenna input socket

Hi G0NQE - We didn''t get the end of your comment , meanwhile, regarding the box, this is tricky. We know there are developers who are planning to integrate the RSP into a larger piece of equipment they are making where additional shielding and mechanical design mods will be necessary, but for most ...

Re: Antenna input socket

We at SDRplay are very aware that for sub 1 GHz the choice of connector is not ideal. We are looking at adapters such as these from RS in the UK http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/rf-coaxia ... s/5465092/ and will report back later. Jon G4ABQ
