Re: Frequency coverage
Just to be clear: as for FCD Pro+ the radio astronomy band at 0.4 GHz is excluded. I assume that is the band that is being addressesd here. Most unfortunate. It is 406.1 - 410.0 MHz and is a PRIMARY allocation, as also MOBILE and FIXED services. It is not an amateur band as defined by ITU-R Radio Re...

Re: Antenna input socket
I can''t see what the problem is with the F-connector. It is low-loss to beyond 2GHz and it is simple to fit the plugs to the cable. OK, it''s 75-ohm, but that isn''t of great importance in this application. My only reservation about it is that it can sometimes be very frustrating when trying to scr...

Re: Antenna input socket
All measured data for the RSP (see http://www.sdrplay.com/docs/SDRplay_Technical_Information_r1p1.pdf ) is with the F-connector. The principle reason for the choice of the F-Connector was one of mechanical robustness. SMA connectors can have a nasty habit of working loose. That said, we have taken o...

Re: Antenna input socket
BNC is specified for a maximum frequency of 1GHz. And if you test the properties, you know why. It is a very unstable connector.\nFor high quality products SMA should be used.\nRF propeties of F-type connectors are good. But it is not a real connector.

Re: API /Driver Issue
Thanks Nemo for the reply....\n\nWhen I plug the device it is recognized in the device manager list Under the Audio, Video, Game group.\nThe linked flag; in the registry base; also turn from 0 to 1 when I plug the device and from 1 to 0 when I unplug it. \n\nIt look to be deeper than that in the sof...
