Re: Android Tablet

I do not want to quell your ethousiasm, but remember a well defined minimum capacity for RAM & Processor is needed. This is the reason why Android 6 is better than Android 7, because it uses less RAM & less Processor. 1 Mb RAM is probably not enough and you should have 2 at least, 3 MB is better. Of...

Re: Android Tablet

You could try and use a powered USB hub.

Who said 0.9a does not work with RSPduo?

Out of curiosity I improvised a quick test. Downloaded & started 0.9a, then turned RSPduo on & loosely coupled to a 10 MHz generator: it works! Excuse this quick & preliminary test. Screen pics enclosed.

Please carry on Steve, you are doing a great job for all of us!!

Re: SDR UNO + RSPduo + Decimation window

Hi SDRplay Support, I gave gone on holiday and am far from the receiver now. However the phenomenon happens when SDRuno is heavily overloaded and the Sys meter goes on the red part of the scale, sometimes the overload would get to the point where you have intermittent audio. This can happen if perha...

Re: SDRUno S-Meter Reading?

Sorry to contradict, but the S meter reading, in SDRplay devices, is tied to the system metered RF input in dBm, according to the universally known "S" rule. In fact, if you watch closely, the S meter indication DOES NOT vary with audio filter bandwith. It varies with input RF intensity, which of co...

Re: Time domain amplitude analysis?

Picotec manufactures PC scopes that also have a spectrum analyser function in their Picoscope software. For instance the PC scope model 2204A is quite unexpensive and will give you spectrum analysis to 10 MHz, with full recording facilities. You only have to feed your audio to the scope.

Re: SDR UNO + RSPduo + Decimation window

Definitely the Decimation and /or the SR windows disappear after a system overload. To make them reappear quickly, - Turn SDRuno off. - go to the "programs" list (bottom left hand corner of the PC screen). - go to the SDRplay directory. - open the SDRuno 123 directory. - click on: "Reset SDRuno Regi...

Re: Multiple VRX receiver /tuner operation

Thanks to all, most informative. Please comment on the following mind experiment. THOUGHT EXPERIMENT I wish to use 5 Receivers for as many separate and simultaneous listening positions. Each listener has his own set of headphones. SDRuno is set up with the regular receiver plus 4 VRX receivers, each...
