Re: HDSDR and storing/loading profiles
Yep Conrad, even with trying with my most positive attitude, neither me have found the extio Profiles to be working at all:-( But hey, HDSDR is freeware, made by hobby-fellows like you and me. We haven't paid a single euro for that. As I am not talented enough to fix those issues in it myself, my co...

Re: HDSDR and storing/loading profiles
This is really starting to get on my nerves. Dear Conrad, I'm seriously worried about your mental health matters, and will do my best to relief your pain. According to me, this works, verified by me, in practice. A bit complicated it is: 1) Start HDSDR, and tune it to the parameters you need. 2) Ex...

Re: Version 1.2 of SDRuno is now close to release
Looks very promising and nice with great new features! One thing I'm a little bit worried of - perhaps in vain: About the new workspace/desktop resolution scaling feature. I'm operating remote-only (RDP). My host PC is capable of 4K video, but there's not even a single monitor connected to it. I use...

Occupied Uno
Hi, SDRplay does not start at all if some other application has 'reserved' the RSP. I think it should. Because, SRDuno is not any good for making recordings. The other one (HDSDR) is way much better in that. I like to listen (already made recordings) while I'm also recording. Preferrably, with SDRpl...

Re: HDSDR and storing/loading profiles
Hi. The profile saving capability of HDSDR... according to me, is very foggy and incoherent. Even though also this is claimed to be working: Making custom profiles:- (for example per receiver) using a command line option "-p profilename" (the profile name should not contain spaces or other local cha...

Re: Propagation-triggered recording
Hi fellows, here comes the Fall 2017 update for OH2BUA SWL Kit. It is a little bit simpler than the first version, easier to get running. But easy thing this is not. For sure, at least some hacking is need to be done by you. What does it do? It monitors ham radio digital (FT8 mode) traffic on 1.8MHz...

Re: HDSDR and storing/loading profiles
Hi Conrad,
I have achieved better (but not complete) control to parameters by exporting all HDSDR-related stuff from windows registry to a file by using registry editor, and then recalling it by using:
regedit /S hdsdrplay.reg

Re: Propagation-triggered recording
I will release a simplified, easier to deploy version of this later in September. Based now on monitoring hugely popular FT8 mode signals on 160m/1.8MHz band.
