Re: ZeusRadio may soon be compatile with SDRPLay

What file/files have to go in Zeus radio directory to make it work? I installed the SDRplay ExIO file in the Zeus Radio directory. To launch the program I click on the ExIO icon, not the ZS-1 application icon. This brings up a list of .dlls of which you click on the ExIO_SDRplay.dll and the applica...

Re: ZeusRadio may soon be compatile with SDRPLay

I've been able to get the Zeus Radio software to display signals from my SDRplay panadapter application. However, I cannot get it to synch with my transceiver (TS-590S) as I do with HDSDR and SDR-Radio Console. I downloaded the file for OmniRig, but no joy. Any ideas?

thanks..Harry

Re: SDRPlay connection with Yaesu FT5000

You can easily connect it to the IF OUT port. Then in the software (HDSDR, SDR-Radio Console) select IF and enter the IF frequency of 9MHz.

Cotter,

Join the SDR-Radio Yahoo Group. Very good community of users. Plus Simon monitors the group and is always willing to lend a hand. They may have more constructive suggestions.

Re: Setup SDRplay & SDR Console as Panadapter?

If you go back to Display -->External Radio there is an Offset Slider at the bottom of the frequency display. Further, if you go to the External Radio Options and select Frequency you can create offsets for each mode.

Re: Setup SDRplay & SDR Console as Panadapter?

If the K1 doesn't have provision for rig control I can't see how SDR-Console/OmniRig (or any other application) can read the frequency.

Re: Setup SDRplay & SDR Console as Panadapter?

Did you configure SDR-Console with your correct IF?

Go to Display ->External Radio and click on the option button.
From there go to "Frequency" and select the radio button for "IF output" and enter the correct IF
Also be sure you have Omnirig set up for your particular radio.

That should work.

The API does work on SDR-console - it was the first thing I checked - but you have to copy it across from the Mirics folder to the SDR console folder replacing the old one.

Dave,

I've done that, but have not seen any changes.

Regular non-SDR transceiver and SDRPlay connected to DX Engineering RTR-1. 1. During receive, how do I get audio to both the SDRPlay and the transceiver? 2. Will I need a front-end guard like this? http://www.dxengineering.com/parts/dxe-rg5000hd 3. How can I control the SDRPlay unit with virtual CO...
