Re: DDE interface

Hi Roger,

unfortunately SDRuno is not very automation-friendly.

But have a look into HDSDR, it supports RSP2, DDE and Orbitron.

Recording by CAT command

Hi, nice that there's a new forum for this subject. I'm a lot after shack automation. I'll start straight ahead with a feature request for SDRuno: - A CAT command to start recording. - A CAT command to stop recording. Why I'm interested in those? To automatically kick on recording when good propagat...

Re: RSP1 not detecting frequency

Hi, it's aviation traffic you are about to listen? 1) You have AM mode and 6000 (Hz) filter bandwidth selected? 2) As RSP1 does not accept BNC connection, you for sure have an adapter or a pigtail for matchmaking. Check that there is a pin to match the hole in RSP1's SMA connector. So that you have ...

Re: Simple remote low overhead SDR app

Hi, me too interested in that - but haven't found a good solution yet. QuestaSDR is aimed to do that, but it's far too unmature, at least for me. OpenWebRX does that - haven't built a server myself yet... When I seriously need to do remote from mobile, I open up a RDP (MS RD Client) connection from ...

Re: Protecting RSP from nearby transmitter

Franko,

is Your AC network power frequency 60Hz? If it is, I suspect the ghosts for being hum remainings.

Re: Remote RSP via USB/CAT5

Heiko, I agree that the concept You described (IQ stream server) is possibly the most proper way to do the thing. But, the reason why I'm not using it myself is the requirement for very stable and pretty high capacity internet connection, just as You wrote. I often need to connect from far-away loca...

Re: Remote RSP via USB/CAT5

Ok glovisol sorry, my viewpoint perhaps too often is avoiding the interference, as I have struggled so much with that subject. BTW, I use my HiZ input to take signal from Double-KAZ antenna fed by 10 meters long 450 ohms ladder line, tx-safety protection circuit and 2 MHz low-pass filter. I original...

Re: Remote RSP via USB/CAT5

Way to go, Mike. Seriously, if one does have heavy RFI in location X - according to me, there is no USB, no (antenna) coaxial-based solution even how extended to get RFI-levels acceptably low. The spread is just too narrow. I recommend everybody not spending xxx eur to proof that personally, like I ...

Re: RSPduo and other software

Hi,

yes the new ExtIOs (all RSP models) work with HDSDR.

Just copy the DLL to the directory at where your HDSDR.exe resides.

Re: Remote RSP via USB/CAT5

Hi, think the best link for separating antenna and listening site is the internet. Sorry for my wiseguy comment, but seriously, after tampering with extenders, repeaters and all kind of kludges at my backyard in a city suburb, I moved all my radio gear 130 kilometers away. LTE router as a connection...
